Epson was also present at IFA 2014 and launched some interesting gadgets in addition to the variety of projectors and printers which are the most famous products they make.
We all know that Epson is one of the largest printers and projectors manufacturer in the world. At IFA 2014 we’ve seen a number of devices made for another segment of computer enthusiasts.
One of these gadgets is Epson Moverio. These glasses are an alternative to Google Glass and their price is about $700. These glasses are a second version.
Unlike Google Glass, Epson Moverio has a display for each eye and it looks normal. This is a very interesting gadget. The glasses have work with Android 4.0 and the movement of the head is like the Oculus Rift system.
These glasses also have a video camera which, unlike Google Glass it will worn you with a LED when it’s recording.
Epson also launched some other devices at IFA 2014. For now, Epson “smart watches” only display information about the distance travelled, time and measured pulse rate.
These products are desingned for athletes or amateurs who are trying to establish a work rhythm or who are passionate about hiking. They also created a very interesting smartband but its functions are currently unknown.
